Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search widget is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and returns any result through its own service. Grant County Court Docket does not keep a separate log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
A message sent to the site may be retained so it can be answered or administered. It is kept within the organization unless disclosure is required by law or needed to protect the service.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, routine server and analytics information may record technical details of the visit:

No Court-Record Data on File
Grant County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of court dockets or personal case records. It provides information about official channels, including the Sixth Judicial District clerk, New Mexico Case Lookup, re:SearchNM, and court-record requests. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or profiles of other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search widgets that appear on some pages. A query submitted through one of those tools is subject to that company's privacy policy and its own retention and sharing practices. Review the provider's terms before entering information.
Links to Other Websites
The resource links to official clerk and court pages, the New Mexico Case Lookup portal, re:SearchNM, and other outside services. A visit to a linked website is governed by that website's privacy policy, not this one. Read the outside policy before supplying personal information.
An advertising partner may track activity across websites for advertising purposes. Any such tracking occurs through that partner's systems.
Who Might See Your Data
The site does not sell personal data. Limited information may be processed by:
- A search partner that receives a query entered in its widget
- Analytics services that measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that display material on the site
- A government body when a valid legal requirement compels disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable safeguards are used for the limited information the site receives. Internet transmission and storage cannot be made risk-free, so absolute security cannot be promised.
Users Under 18
The resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If information from a minor is believed to have been sent to the site, a parent or guardian may request its review and deletion where appropriate.
Your Data Rights
New Mexico court-record access is governed by Rule 1-079 NMRA, the New Mexico Judiciary's secure Case Access Policy, and the written-request standard described at NMSA 1978 §14-2-8(D). Those authorities govern court records rather than creating a promise that this private site holds visitor data. A person may still ask about information submitted directly to this site:
- Request a description of a message or information supplied directly to the site
- Ask for a correction to directly supplied contact information
- Request deletion of directly supplied information when retention is not required
- Use browser settings to limit cookies and related processing
